Pyronale 2010
on 3rd and 4th September
Summary of PYRONALE 2009
On Friday , 4th and Sunday 5th of September six of the worlds best fireworkers performed in a competition for the golden Pyronale trophy. The spectators of the 4th Pyronale saw six sensational fireworks on the Maifeld at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. On Friday there were Pyro-technicians from Turkey, Singapore and Austria and on Saturday from Poland, South Africa and Spain.
Both evenings ended with a spectacular final firework after the award ceremony staged by the company Flash Art (out of competition). The music of the final fireworks was by the Scorpions and the logo of Citroen was “written” in fire on the belfry in the middle of the Maifeld.
And here are the winners of this year’s PYRONALE:
Winners of the day:
Friday Feuerwerke Jost AUSTRIA
Saturday Surex POLAND
The winner of the day was elected by the spectators via SMS-voting!
OVERALL WINNER:
gold Feuerwerke Jost AUSTRIA
silver Surex POLAND
bronze Glorious Singapore SINGAPORE
The overall winner of Pyronale 2009 was elected by the Pyronale-judges! The decision which team is to become first place was extremely difficult this year. It was a head-to-head race between Austria and Poland. At the end Austria prevailed with a waferthin advance and took the trophy home.
We congratulate the winners and of course the other teams who participated at Pyronale 2009. Every single team delivered a stunning performance!
We are very much looking forward to the 5th PYRONALE, which will take place on 03rd and 04th September 2010. The first participant has already been fixed: it is the company Bugano from Switzerland, who is the winner of PYRO-NIGHT which took place 29th August 2009 in Erfurt. With this victory they qualified for Pyronale 2010 once again as they have already performed at Pyronale 2008 where they have won 2nd price.
